Sunil Kumar joined Aditya Birla Finance Limited as Head of Credit in March 2024.

He is an industry veteran with over 28 years of comprehensive experience across various facets of the banking business. His expertise spans include Sales, Credit, Digital Automation, Forex, Monitoring, EWS CASA, CMS, Operations, Recovery, Budgeting and P&L management, enabling him to drive organisational success effectively.

During his last 16 years stint with Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd, Sunil held key roles, including National Sales Head, National Credit Head, Head of Monitoring , and Head-EWS the Commercial Banking Group demonstrating his versatility and strong leadership skills. Prior to his tenure at Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd, he held senior managerial positions at Bank of Baroda, Dena Bank( two stints), and Oriental Bank of Commerce.

Sunil’s educational background includes an MBA in Finance, Post Graduate Diploma in Foreign Trade and CAIIB. He also served as a visiting faculty at Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala Bankers’ Training College (SPBT), Mumbai.
