Chief Compliance Officer

Jitendra Bhati is the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) at Aditya Birla Finance Limited (ABFL).

Jitendra has over 16 years of extensive experience in compliance, secretarial & legal functions and proficiency in augmenting governance framework and compliance processes for NBFC / HFC encompassing RBI, NHB, SEBI, IRDA, FEMA & Corporate Laws. Before joining ABFL, he was associated with IndoStar Capital Finance Limited (ICF), in leadership grade as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Company Secretary, spearheading group compliance, corporate legal & secretarial functions for ICF, its subsidiaries and AIF Funds, and leading successful business and compliance processes, regulatory licenses & approvals, acquisitions, corporate restructuring, fundraising including IPOs, etc. Prior to ICF, he worked with Future Capital Holdings Limited (now IDFC First Bank Ltd.).

Jitendra is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) Accounting degree from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, and a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Mumbai. Further, he holds a post-graduation diploma in international business and finance from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, a post-graduation diploma in business management from the Institute of Management Technology (executive) and a post-graduation diploma in securities law from Government Law College, Mumbai.
