Tushar Shah

CEO, Infrastructure Project & Structured Finance

Tushar is the CEO for the Project and Structured Finance business at Aditya Birla Finance Ltd. He joined ABFL in 2011 and brings over 20 years of relevant experience in financial services. Since his joining, Tushar spearheaded the Group’s foray into infrastructure and large corporate financing. He shares additional responsibilities as the Director of Aditya Birla Money Ltd. and is responsible for setting up the stressed asset platform for the group.

Under his leadership, the Group has taken rapid strides in project-linked lending, Structured Finance, Debt Capital Markets and Syndication. Prior to joining ABFL, Tushar was the Chief Operating Officer of IL&FS Financial Services Ltd, where he was responsible for business development and managed debt assets worth $1.6 billion. During his career at IL&FS, he held a number of roles in Capital Markets and Corporate Advisory Services.

Tushar holds a Bachelor of Law from Mumbai University and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1988.
